Conducted as a structured diploma course with on-the-job training, the SRS accommodates:-

  • Doctors trained overseas who do not hold a degree from a university specified in the Second Schedule of the Medical Registration Act (MRA) or a registrable postgraduate medical qualification recognised by SMC or exit specialist qualification recognised for specialist accreditation by the Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB).
  • Applicants are required to be currently employed in a local Singapore institution/hospital for at least one year in the relevant departments.
  • Applicants who are enrolled into the SRS Diploma programmes would be required to have a training supervisor who is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
