CONSTITUTION

The governing body of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore is the Council, with a total of 23 elected members. Its governing constitution is stipulated in Articles 60-77 [PDF] of the Memorandum and Articles of Association.

The governance and constitution of the Academy is determined by its Memorandum and Articles of Association [PDF] and its Bylaws. The Council is empowered to make amendments to the Bylaws. However, amendments to the Memorandum and Articles of Association must be passed by the House.
