The Diploma in Psychiatry programme is to produce physicians who have the skillsand knowledge of evaluating and managing patients with psychiatric disorders.
The structured program and the close supervision of trainees will ensure the
development of a competent and safe Staff Registrar. Successful candidate armed with a diploma may be granted a conditional registration by SMC and potentially work as staff registrar in SMC approved institutions.
