19th Regional MRCOG Part 2 and 3 Course
22 Nov 2018

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 19th Regional MRCOG Part 2 Examination Course in Singapore, where trainees will get to experience a full-scale mock written exam. This year, we are extremely privileged to have two senior RCOG examiners, Mr Toby Fay, Former Chair of the MRCOG Part 2 EMQ subcommittee, and Mr Neil Liversedge to help facilitate this course.

We urge you to take this opportunity to learn the proper techniques to help you pass your MRCOG Part 2 written exam. Our esteemed RCOG UK examiners will be giving lectures and conducting interactive EMQs and SBAs sessions. This gives you the opportunity to not only pick up exam tips and techniques from them, but also the chance to clarify any doubts you may have before your examination.

The Part 3 Clinical Skills Course will give delegates a unique opportunity to practise and rehearse the clinical tasks set down in the new MRCOG Part 3 oral examination. There will be two different circuits, each with 14 active stations where you will receive individual feedback after each of the tasks from the examiners, some of which will use local role players and lay examiners.

A new interactive session will give delegates the opportunity to work through a separate set of circuit questions in a group setting along with workshop-based sessions incorporating communication skills with patients and colleagues, issues of patient safety, applied clinical knowledge and information gathering using different task materials to increase the delegate’s exposure to more questions.

Videos of different tasks will also be presented and discussed to highlight the important components in each domain required of the examination. Exposure to the various types of activities above will help delegates reflect on individual strengths and identify areas for improvement and further practice.

Places on this course are strictly limited to 28 full participants and will be allocated on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis.

This year, we are introducing observer places on this course due to the overwhelming response for our previous course. Observers will receive the opportunities to attend lectures, workshops, observe the mock examination circuit and participate in the interactive sessions. Observer places on this course are strictly limited to 14 and will be allocated on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis.

Seats are limited, please register early.
