The COVID-19 pandemic has crippled healthcare systems and economy, and killed millions of people globally since its emergence in early 2020. Scientific research has rapidly developed accurate diagnostics and effective treatment, and tracked the evolution of different strains of SARS-CoV-2 since 2020. While face masks and social distancing have been effective in mitigating the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the return to normalcy requires a high level of herd immunity that cannot be attained rapidly by natural infection. The College of Physicians, Singapore will be organising the 11th Medicine Review Course, which will be held on 5 – 6 October 2019 at Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) Auditorium.
The faculty comprises expert physicians who are fellows of the Academy of Medicine and College of Physicians, Singapore.
The 27th Seah Cheng Siang Memorial Lecture, 14th College of Physicians Lecture and College Conferment Ceremony were held on 22 July 2017 at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, in conjunction with the 51st Singapore-Malaysia Congress of Medicine.
At the close of the nomination deadline, the Council received and accepted nominations from four Fellows for election as Council Members for the term 2017-2019. As there were only three vacancies available, a postal ballot was conducted for Fellows of the College to cast their votes.
The Chapter of Renal Physicians held their annual Lectureship Dinner recently to honour a colleague in recognition of her contributions to Nephrology in Singapore.

The 26th Seah Cheng Siang Memorial Lecture, 13th College of Physicians Lecture and College Conferment Ceremony were held on 2 September 2016 at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, in conjunction with the inaugural College Dinner.
At the close of the nomination deadline, 16 June 2014, 1700 hours, the following nomination for the post of President-Elect was received.
The 8th Medicine Review Course was successfully held on 23-24 July 2016 at Academia Auditorium. The Organising Committee engaged 52 faculty members comprising speakers and programme directors from 15 Chapters to deliver an enriching 2-day programme for the participants.
