About Us
The Chapter of Psychiatrists was formed on 5 December 1986; and on 5 November 2014 the College of Psychiatrists (CPsych) was officially formed under the umbrella of Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
The College aims to continue providing a professional leadership, continuing education in mental health services, promoting good mental health and mental ill health practice for those involved in the mental health services both service users and care professionals alike. Many of our Fellows were integrally involved with other health care professionals in developing Mental Health Services, “Towards More Holistic Care”.
The Inaugural General Meeting (IGM) of the College was held on 5 November 2014 at Goodwood Park Hotel. It was attended by some 50 Fellows to mark the establishment of the College. Master, the Guest-of-Honour, had graced the occasion that evening.
