The O&G Research Award

The Award will be presented to the doctor who submits the best original unpublished paper for the year, or the best proposal for a research project for the year. It is aimed at encouraging doctors to do research in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.


The Award winner will be presented with the sum of S$3,000 and a certificate at the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Annual General Meeting for the year.


The panel reserves the right to withhold the award if the papers submitted do not reach a sufficient standard to merit the award.


The College reserves the right to publish in full the paper selected for the O&G Research Award in the Annals, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.



College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Lecture

Held annually at an event organised by the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Singapore, the Lecture is open to distinguished members of the medical profession by invitation (local as well as overseas). The subject offered for the Lecture must be educational in content and be in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.


Nominations for the Lecturer will be invited from members of the College six months before the date of the Lecture. The Council of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Singapore will study the nominations for approval. The name of the Lecturer shall be announced before the event.


The Lecturer will be presented with a gold medallion. In addition, a business class return air passage and accommodation for the Lecturer during his stay throughout the duration of the event will be paid for by the College.


The College in consultation with the Academy of Medicine reserves the right to publish the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Lecture in full in the Annals, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
