Dr Wang Junjie is the Head and Senior Consultant of the Department of Gynaecological Oncology, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Dr Wang did his fellowship in Switzerland and France. His fellowship training had a strong focus on advanced laparoscopic surgery for gynaecological cancers and sentinel lymph node biopsy in gynaecological cancers.
Introduction
Endometrial cancer is the most common Gynaecologic cancer in women. In this lecture, we will talk about the latest FIGO staging for endometrial cancer and discuss the recent updates in the management of endometrial cancer. We will explore advancements in diagnostic techniques such as molecular profiling, examine new treatment strategies including targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and minimally invasive surgical techniques that have improved outcomes and reduced treatment-related side effects.
