In the last few years, there have been increasing recognition of the importance of multimodal, evidenced based perioperative optimisation in improving surgical outcomes of our patients, with Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS®) at the forefront of this development.
This year, with the support of ERAS® Society, ERAS Chapter (Singapore) and ERAS Chapter (Philippines) are organising the 1st ERAS®ASIA Congress in Singapore. This meeting will be a great platform for surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and allied health professionals to share knowledge and practical tips on ERAS implementation, protocols and discuss controversies surrounding latest developments in perioperative care.
