• Recognition of specialty status by the award of the Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) degree.
• Opportunity to forge close professional and personal ties with other Fellows within the largest specialist medical organisation representing all specialties in the Specialists Accreditation Board and the Dental Specialists Accreditation Board.

• Travel Assistance Grant from the Common Fund for Advancement of Medicine for Fellows of at least 3 years’ standing.
