Radiologists are heavily involved in training and education at all levels of medicine: from Medical Students through Post-graduate Radiology Trainees to Continuing Medical Education (CME); training physicians and other healthcare professionals both within and outside Singapore.

 

The College of Radiologists co-ordinates several radiology education initiatives, and, in our small island, many Fellows generously contribute their time and energy to a holistic continuum in this vital link to the future of our profession. Furthermore, within the confines of a rapidly changing practice environment and regulatory policy reform, Fellows are offering innovative and novel programs.

 

At the same time, the entire medical education mileu has changed dramatically in the past few years, especially for the Chapter of Diagnostic Radiologists, and the radiology community has been working hard to respond and proactively prepare for many of the reforms.
