8th Medicine Review Course

On behalf of the Organising Committee, I extend a warm welcome to you to participate in the 8th Medicine Review Course, which will be held on 23 - 24 July 2016 in Singapore. Since the inception of the Medicine Review Course in 2009, the course has grown to become the premier national review course in Internal Medicine and seen a growth of over 200% in registration figures in the past 7 years.The principal objectives of the course include:

 

  1. Providing expert guidelines and practical pearls in the management of commonly encountered problems in the general medicine unit
  2. Providing evidence based medicine succinct update on hot topics in internal medicine and its subspecialties
  3. Providing concise review of disease conditions that are commonly encountered in clinical practice or examination

 

The 8th Medicine Review Course includes the following programme highlights: 

 

  • Hot Diagnostic and Therapeutics – This lecture will focus on a particular diagnostic or therapeutic procedure that is recently introduced into routine clinical practice.
  • Problem Solving – This lecture will focus on a particular clinical problem that is commonly encountered in either the ambulatory or inpatient setting.
  • New Disease Perspectives – This lecture will focus on recent developments on a specific disease in one particular area.

 

Although there has been increasing interest and participation from our junior doctors, residents and medical students, the course continues to remain as an important forum for our fellow specialists and generalists
