Course Objectives

To provide opportunity for development of staff registrar based on candidates for those already be qualified in Internal Medicine overseas but do not satisfy our national professional requirements for registration as specialists in Cardiology.
Allows departments to retain and train suitable foreign-trained doctors {eg doctors on Temporary Registration (service)}to the competency level of a Staff Registrar who can provide registrar level service work and who can provide continuity of care in the transition between MO postings.

Exam format

All trainees will be required to undergo an exit assessment conducted by the Chapter of Cardiologists at the end of the training period. To obtain the diploma, the candidate must successfully sit through a clinical cardiology MCQ assessment and a set of data interpretation questions.

Applications for the 6th Intake in 2013 will open from April to May 2013
