Course Duration	2 years
Course Objectives
The aim of the programme is to enable the trainee to acquire the skills and knowledge in the following: Evaluating and managing patients with psychiatric disorders Assessment, understanding of the aetiological factors and biopsychosocial management of common psychiatric disorders e.g. psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, child and adolescent psychiatric disorders and mental disorders in the elderly Performance of risk assessment Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team Appropriate utilization of community services for psychiatry patients
Exam format
All trainees are required to undergo a yearly examination. Trainees must pass this examination before they can continue to the next training year.
Intake
Applications for the 3rd Intake will be open from 1 June - 30 June 2015.
