This webinar will provide a brief overview of Nipah virus infection: epidemiology, incubation and previous Nipah outbreaks.  Information useful and relevant to doctors seeing patients will be covered, including clinical diagnostic testing and treatment.  It will discuss guidance for infection prevention and control (IPC) precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as current public health measures and obligations to notify CDA.
